Preston Madison Spain III, 44 of Colonial Heights died suddenly on Friday, March 05, 2004. He was raised by his grandparents; the late Preston M. and Mary Elaine Deadmon Spain, Sr., and was preceeded in death by his father; Preston M. Spain, Jr. He was a self employed mechanic. He is survived by his mother; Rosemary Hazelwood Buckley of Colonial Heights, one daughter; Steffanie Madison Spain of Powhatan, a sister; Cheryl Stout of Chester and two nieces; Ashley and Amber Stout of Chester. A memorial service will be held tonight at 7:00 p.m. with visitation to follow until 8:30 at the Petersburg Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home.
