Irene M. Gonshor, 93, of South Chesterfield, VA, formerly of Nanticoke and Mountaintop, PA, passed away on January 24, 2024.
She was predeceased by her parents, Anthony and Agnes (Regula) Orlowski; her husband of 67 years, Norman Gonshor; sister, Jean Price; and brother, Raymond Orlowski.
Irene attended Nanticoke schools, worked in the garment industry, and retired from Dana Perfume in Mountaintop.
Surviving are her daughter, Cynthia and husband, Glenn Verlander; grandchildren, Bradley DuVal and Adrienne Matlick; and great-grandchildren, Bryson and Hannah.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted on February 7, 2024, at St. Ann Catholic Church, at 5:00 p.m. The family will receive friends for visitation one hour prior at the church. Entombment will be at a later date at St. Mary's Cemetery in Hanover Township, PA. Donations may be made to St. Ann Catholic Church, 17111 Route 1 South Chesterfield, VA 23834.
