Irene Graham

Irene Higney Graham, 91, of Hopewell, Virginia peacefully passed away on February 19, 2024.

Irene was born in New York and moved to Virginia in 1968. In her younger years, she enjoyed roller skating and dancing with her husband.

Irene was predeceased by her parents, Charles and Helen Higney; her husband, Lawrence; her sisters, Vivian and Muriel; and her brothers, Charles, Sonny, John, and Harold. She is survived by her son, Richard Graham and his wife, Ann, and their four children, Allison, Colin, Lyndsey, and Lauryn, and by her daughter, Karen Waymack and her husband, Bruce, and their ten children, Jennifer, Matthew, Sarah, Rebecca, Jason, Amy, Joseph, Heather, Rachel, and Meredith; and her eleven great-grandchildren. Services will be held at 3 p.m., on March 13, 2024, at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home.
