Irene Juanita Langley

Irene “Juanita” Langley, 85, of Hopewell, VA passed away on December 17th, 2017 after a brief illness. She was predeceased by her husband, “JT” Langley Sr, brother Archie, and sisters Hilda and Jean. She is survived by her son, Joseph “Joey” Langley, Jr and his wife Diane, grandchildren Laura (Justin) and Kyle, and great-grandchildren Gavin, Owen, Blake and Kaedyn, sisters Inez and Shirley. Juanita retired from DGSC as a Contract Agent after 30 years of faithful service. She spent a majority of her retirement years with her family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren who lovingly referred to her as “Nina”. She had a spirit of giving, was an avid reader and a faithful Christian. Visitation will be held at J.T. Morriss and Son funeral home in Hopewell on Wednesday, December 20th 2017 from 12:30-2:00 with service immediately following the viewing. Graveside service will be at Appomattox Cemetery after the service concludes. Family and friends are welcome to join at Wesley United Methodist Church, 2901 Norfolk Street Hopewell, VA 23860 after the graveside service for refreshments and remembrance.
