Irene Roller

Irene Roller, 92, of Chester, VA passed away on Wednesday, February 13, 2019. Born in Big Stone Gap, VA she was the daughter of the late Oscar B. and Maude Gibson Roller; and was also preceded in death by her siblings, Nadine, Lucy, Joann, Bud, and Otis. Mrs. Roller was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed dancing, traveling, working crossword puzzles, reading, gardening and camping. She was a member of Elkhardt Baptist Church in Chesterfield, VA. Mrs. Roller is survived by her brother, Kelly Roller and wife, Joann; a sister, Florance Dunn and husband, Jim; and numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Dale Memorial Park, Chesterfield, VA. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
