Irene Voda

Irene Naomi Voda, 84, of Prince George, died Thursday, May 1, 2008 in Colonial Heights Health Care Center. Mrs. Voda was a life long resident of the Prince George area. She was a member of the Nazareth Lutheran Church, a volunteer at John Randolph Medical Center, and a retired secretary from Ft. Lee. Mrs. Voda was the daughter of the late John and Mary Minach and the widow of Walter V. Voda. She is survived by a son, Walter Daryl Voda and his wife Diana of Prince George, a granddaughter, Audrey L. Voda of Chester, and a brother Henry Minach of Deming, NM. The family will receive friends Friday, May 2, 2008 from 7:00 to 8:30 PM in the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service. A funeral service will be held Saturday, May 3, 3008 at 11:00 AM in the Nazareth Lutheran Church with Pastor George D. Plvan, interim pastor officiating.
