Irma Battel Dominguez

Irma Battel Dominguez, 87, of Chester, VA passed away on Thursday, February 14, 2019. Born in Clifton, NJ she was the daughter of the late Giacomo and Maria Gava Battel; and was also preceded in death by her sister, Dina Battel Battiston; and a grandson, Daniel Paul Geib. Mrs. Dominguez enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, painting, sewing, cooking and baking, making crafts, and gardening, where she had quite the green thumb. She was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church and the Shepherd’s Center of Chesterfield. She is survived by her loving husband of 68 years, Milciades Dominguez; four children, Melissa Dominguez Geib and husband, Roy, Milt Dominguez and wife, Julie, Dennis Dominguez and wife, Nancy, and Mary Dominguez Ranallo and husband, Chris; eleven grandchildren, Jeremy Geib and wife, Heather, Bethany Geib-Rosch and husband, Jacob, Kyle Dominguez and wife, Jennifer, Kristen Dominguez Boggs and husband, Chris, Michael Dominguez and wife, Lauren, David Dominguez, Phillip Dominguez, Christian Ranallo, Aaron Ranallo, Jordan Ranallo, and Arianna Ranallo; nine great-grandchildren, Caleb Geib, Noah Boggs, Sofia Geib-Rosch, Nicholas Geib, Aaron Boggs, Rachael Dominguez, Gabriella Dominguez, Lucas Geib-Rosch, and Anthony Dominguez; and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Laura Fernandez and Hospice of Virginia as well as Mrs. Dominguez’s caregivers, Joyce Wiggins, Heather Lester, Jennifer Doane, and Farrah Crews for their love and care shown to Mrs. Dominguez. A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 18, 2019 at St. Augustine Catholic Church. Interment will be private. The family is being served by the Chester Chapel of J.T.
