Irving John "I.J." Benesek, Jr.

Irving John “ I.J.” Benesek, Jr., 76, of Prince George Va., passed away on Thursday, August 11, 2016. He was preceded in death by his parents, Irving John, Sr., and Helen Charvat Benesek; and sister, Helen. I.J. was a member of the Prince George Masonic Lodge #115 and a member of Faith Baptist Church. He was also a Veteran of the U.S. Air Force. I.J. is survived by his wife, Kathy H. Benesek; son, Dr. John P. Benesek; daughter, Tracey B. Burton, MSN, RN and husband, Joel; five grandchildren, Tyler Anderson, Jordan, Riley, Aiden and Cameron Benesek; brother, Charles and wife, Barbara; and sister, Sherri and husband, Bob. A memorial service will be held at 7:00 P.M., on Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. Interment will be private.
