Isabelle Thompson Clarke

Isabelle Thompson Clarke, age 97, went to her heavenly home on March 31, 2023. Isabelle was born in Keysville, VA to the late Charles W. and Ida P. Thompson. A graduate of John Marshall High School in 1943, she was predeceased by her loving husband of 63 years, Russell Keith Clarke. Isabelle was also predeceased by her brother Garrie Thompson and sisters Anne Smith, Ida Mae Johnson, and Jennie Rose Ramsey.
She is survived by her daughter, Linda "Boopie" Clarke-Myers; her son, Robert "Bobby" Clarke (Donna); grandsons Corey Paczkowski (Sabrina), Kevin Paczkowski, Bryan Clarke (Andrea), and Adam Clarke; her granddaughter, Angela Satterwhite (DJ); nine great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren; four nephews, and three nieces.
Isabelle loved the Lord, her church family, and was loved by all who came to know her. She always put others first and was concerned about their well-being before her own.
Isabelle's family would like to gratefully acknowledge the professional and loving care provided by Heather and Juanita of Hospice of Virginia.
A memorial service will be held at the Chesterfield Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home on Friday, April 14, 2023, at 2:00 PM, with interment at Sunset Memorial Park, Chester, Virginia.
