Jack Thomas Branch,75, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, September 8, 2009. He is survived by his wife, Pearl S. Branch; son, Jack T. Branch, Jr. (Cathy) of Church Road; two daughters, Denise Branch Hardy (Eddie) of Church Road; Kimberly Branch Barbour of Richmond; granddaughter, Mason Hardy of Dinwiddie; sister-in-law, Daisy S. Carson of Colonial Heights; brother-in-laws, John W. Sharpe, Jr. of Church Road; Calvin N. Sharpe of Victoria; Roy C. Sharpe of Columbus, GA; nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Mr. Branch owned and operated the Colonial Heights and Prince George What-A-Burger restaurants as well Trucks and Equipment car lot in Petersburg, VA. He was a true entrepreneur in that he owned and operated many businesses throughout his career, including a motorcycle shop in Richmond, VA, the Village Marina Motel and Campgrounds as well as the Channel Bass Restaurant in Cape Hatteras, NC. Graveside services will be conducted 10:00 am Thursday, September 10, 2009 at Dale Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Wednesday at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T.
