Jack Harris

Jack Harris, 85, of Roanoke, formerly of Petersburg died Sunday, April 2, 2006 at Virginia Veterans Care Center, Roanoke, VA. He was the son of the late Joel Walker and Mabel Motley Harris. He was a U. S. Army veteran of WW II and was a retired carpenter. He attended Walnut Hill Baptist Church. He is survived by two sisters, Joann Carelock of Petersburg and Francis Stanley of Florida; and a brother, Donald Harris of Dinwiddie. Private graveside services will be held in Southlawn Memorial Park. The family is being served by J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Petersburg.
