Jackie Elmer Carlton, Sr. “Jack”, 69, of Colonial Heights, VA, passed away on Thursday, June 19, 2014, surrounded by his family and favorite dog Spot. He is preceded in death by his parents, Otto and Bertha Gunnoe Carlton; brothers, James Farrell and Harold Carlton; and sister, Constance June Walker. Jack is survived by his daughter, Amy Wilkinson; son, Jackie Carlton, Jr.; grandchildren, Emily Wilkinson, and Jacob and Devin Carlton; beloved dogs, Spot, Bingo, Dot, and Scruffy; and many other family and friends. Jack loved the outdoors and tending to his flower gardens. Family will receive friends Wednesday, June 25, 2014 from 6-8pm at J.T. Morriss and Son Petersburg Chapel.
