Jackie Lynn Long

Ms. Jackie B Long, 68, of Hopewell went to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 12, 2018. She was born in Hopewell on June 10, 1949 the daughter of Thurman L Brinkley sr and Virginia S Brinkley. Jackie was a retired food service employee at Honeywell in Hopewell and the former wife of Gerald Long. She is survived by her four kitty cats Gabbie, Lucy, Spencer, and Ms. Kitty. Jackie had three children and their families Jenny and Eddie Webb of Hopewell, Michael Long of Hopewell, and Jeremy and Erica Long of VA Beach. Three brothers and their families Steven and Connie Brinkley of Prince George. Chip and Maggie Brinkley of Hopewell and Johnny and Evelyn Brinkley of Raleigh, NC. She had 5 grandsons Ryan and Matthew Long of Hopewell, Michael and Brandon Long and Dinwiddie and Jordan Holtsclaw of Hopewell. Also four granddaughters and their families Chrissy and Matt Hottinger. Katelyn Holtsclaw with Brian Leblanc. Chaeli Long and Joelyn Booth. She had three great granddaughters Austyn Hottinger and Skylynn and Addison LeBlanc. The family will be receiving friends from 6-8 on Monday April 16th at JT Morris Funeral Home.
