Jackie Eugene Terry

Jackie Eugene “Jack” Terry, 71 of Hopewell, VA passed away, Tuesday, September 19, 2017. Jack was born in the mountains of Smyth County, VA on January 7, 1946. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Raymond Terry and Susie Isabella Mumpower Terry; a sister, Nannie Mae Terry Groseclose; and a brother, Ernest Terry. He is survived by his loving wife of over 52 years, Betty E. Terry; daughter, Angela Terry Aldrich; granddaughter and his pride and joy, Kayla Jordan Aldrich; brother-in-laws, David M. Eastridge, and Sammy J. Eastridge; one niece; and two nephews; as well as, numerous extended family and friends. Jack retired from Honeywell Chesterfield Plant in 2004. Jackie was a “Jack of all trades” he enjoyed building and fixing things, as well as, woodworking and helping his friends and family fix and repair most anything he could. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed nothing more than spending time on the water. J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home Hopewell Chapel is assisting the family with final arrangements.
