Jackson Lee Kirk, native of Chesapeake, West Virginia, died Monday, February 27, 2012 in his home in Prince George County, Virginia. He is preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Hood Kirk, his parents, Oley and Pearl Whittaker Kirk, and his nephew Kevin Kirk.

Jack served in the Air Force for four years doing radio maintenance on B-52's. He retired from AT&T with 25+ years as a communications craftsman. He was a true artisan: painter, woodcarver, and photographer among others. He enjoyed Civil War re-enactment and relic hunting. He was a lover of the outdoors including fishing, canoeing, sailing, and target shooting. He was a devoted father. We are grateful to God for Jack's 74 years of life. We will miss his zeal for life and laughter that were contagious.
