Jacqueline Clark Patterson

Jacqueline Clark Patterson, 93, passed away on July 24, 2018. Born in Hopewell, VA she was the daughter of the late Lloyd Opie and Amy Rugar Clark; and was also preceded in death by her husband, Donald Leslie Patterson; and a daughter, Leslie Patterson Grubb. Mrs. Patterson was a longtime resident of Hopewell, VA and had currently resided at Spring Arbor of Salisbury in Midlothian, VA. She was also a lifetime member of First United Methodist Church in Hopewell, VA. Mrs. Patterson is survived by her children, Susan Patterson McCann (Earl), Mark Westfall Patterson (Helen) and Kimberly Patterson Murphy (Pat); six grandchildren, Jenny Patterson, Laura Patterson, Sam Grubb, Katie Murphy, Jack Murphy and Michael Murphy; a sister, Carolyn Buyalos (Mike); as well as numerous extended family and friends. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, July 30, 2018 at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Appomattox Cemetery, Hopewell, VA. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. The family would like to express their gratitude and thanks to the employees of Spring Arbor of Salisbury for the loving care of their mother for the past 11 years.
