James Robert Andrews Sr.

James Robert “Bobby” Andrews, Sr, 80, of DeWitt, passed away on Thursday, December 15, 2016 at 11:11 p.m. Born in Petersburg, VA, he was the son of the late Linwood Lee Andrews and Minnie Lucille Stell Andrews. He was also preceded in death by wife, Hazel L. Andrews; brothers, Gerald Wayne Andrews, Dennis Ray Andrews, and Raymond Marvin Andrews. He is survived by sons, Jeffrey O’Neal Andrews (Kathy) and James Robert Andrews, Jr.; daughter, Mary Lucille Andrews (Jose); grandchildren, Jeffrey O’Neal Padgett, Brittany Nicole Padgett, Alexie Elizabeth Sweeny, and Skyler Grace Sweeny; great-granddaughter, Makayla Kay Tanner; brothers, Stanley Andrews, Arthur Andrews, Donald Andrews (Carol), and Clifton Andrews (Joann); sister, Jean Stell; numerous nieces and nephews; and beloved dog, Pee Wee. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, December 19, 2016 at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at Gill Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, 10726 River Rd. Chesterfield, VA 23838.
