James Bailey

James Gordon Bailey, 71, died Monday, June 9, 2008 at CJW Medical Center. He was born in Surry County, Virginia and lived most of his life in Prince George County. He is preceded in death by his parents, Karl Gordon and Ethel Horne Bailey. He retired in sales from Starkes Grocery and was a member of the Burrowsville Ruritan Club. Survivors include a sister, Ann B. Valenta and husband, Thomas, of Colonial Heights and a nephew, Thomas M. Valenta, Jr. of Darnestown . MD.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, June 10, 2008, from 7 â?? 8:30 p.m. in the Hopewell Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, June 11, 2008 at 11 a.m. in Newville United Methodist Church Cemetery, 9014 Hines Road, Disputanta, VA 23842.
