James William Casey, 63, of Dinwiddie died Wednesday, March 9, 2005 at his home. He was born in Smyth County, Virginia and was the son of the late Joseph Aston and Bonnie Johnson Casey. He was an employee of Adamson Global Technology for 20 years. He is survived by his wife, Shirley W. Casey; daughter and son-in-law, Vickie and Michael Rexroad, Jr. of Hopewell; son and daughter-in-law, Hubert and Denise Weaver of Chicago; 11 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; brother and sister-in-law, Carl and Helen Casey of Dinwiddie; sister Johnsie Miller of Meadowview, VA; brother-in-law, Alton Moody; nieces and nephews, David and Shelia Casey, Linda and Gary Hicks, Susie Scarpo, Cathy and Butch McGlaughlin, Bill Casey, James Casey, Mary Ann and Jackie Bise, Steve and Janet Miller, Denise and Mark Ukrop and Theresa Cruz; 22 great nieces and nephews; and 13 great-great nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held Saturday at 12 noon in the Petersburg Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service with Dr. Raymond James, pastor of Faith Tabernacle Assembly of God, officiating. Interment will follow in Southlawn Memorial Park.
