James Clifford Crabtree

James Clifford Crabtree, 71, of Disputanta died on Wednesday November 23, 2016. He was preceded in death by his parents, Otis and Anna Luther Crabtree; sisters, Anna Ruth, Doris Mae; brothers, Roy Crabtree, Donald Crabtree, Otis Crabtree Jr. James graduated from Buffalo High School in Wayne County West VA, and had three years of college in Baton Rouge Louisiana. He was a respected business owner of James Crabtree Construction Company for 31 years. James loved his wife of 41 years and there 3 daughters, and four grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Nora “Edith” Crabtree; daughters, Jamie Lynn Chester, Claudia Regina Phoenix, Anita Ann Crabtree; granddaughter, Hannah Rebekah Crabtree; grandsons, Ian James Wolfe, Vaden Lee Franklin, Joseph Seckora; brothers, Tim Crabtree, Philip Crabtree, Nathan Crabtree, Mike White; sisters, Ruby McCoy, Charlotte Gibson, Lola Ferguson; special neice, Olivia Willoughby and her husband, Pong and their children, Brandon, and Olivia; nephew, Mike White; and numerous other nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends. The family will receive friends from 6pm to 8pm on Tuesday November 29, 2016 at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 11am on Wednesday November 30, 2016 at Faith Lutheran Parish 8211 Prince George Drive Prince George, VA 23875. A service will be held for him at Spirit of Faith Church in Kenova, West VA, on Friday December 2, 2016 with the family receiving friends from 11am to 1pm on Friday at the church.
