James H. Crist, 53, of Chester, VA passed away on Wednesday, April 22, 2015. He was preceded in death by his father, Homer J. Crist. He is survived by his sons, Matt Crist and wife, Ashley, and Benjamin Crist; granddaughter, Maryn Crist; his loving Jeanne Marie Raven; brother, Jerry Crist and wife Dawn; nephews, J.C., Keith, Raymond and Nathan Crist; and numerous other loving family and friends. He was an avid outdoorsmen who enjoyed hunting and fishing. Jamie loved spending time with his family and will be greatly missed. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 26, 2015 at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home, 3050 W. Hundred Rd., Chester, VA 23831. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 27, 2015 at the funeral home with the Rev. Ivan Perkinson, officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park.
