James J. Culleton, 67, of McKenney, VA, passed away Friday, April 8, 2011 at his home, Reedy Creek Farm. Born in Brooklyn, NY, he was the son of the late James John and Catherine Gallagher Culleton. Jim was a retired school administrator for the New York City Public School System. Following his retirement, he moved to Dalton, PA and was the owner of Bailey Hollow Farm. From 1986 to 2000, he was the Master of Fox Hounds for the Abington Hills Hunt. In 1999, he moved to Reedy Creek Farm in McKenney, VA and has since been the Master of Fox Hounds for Reedy Creek Hounds. Jim was also serving as Vice President of the National Beagle Club. A Christian Wake service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Monday, April 11th at the Petersburg Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service followed by visitation until 8:00 p.m. A second visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 12th at the Jennings-Calvey Funeral Home, Clarks Summit, PA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at Our Lady of the Abingtons Catholic Church, Dalton, PA. Interment will follow at Fairlawn Cemetery, Dalton, PA.
