James â??Jamieâ? Edward Cox, 42, of Chesterfield, passed away on Wednesday, February 1, 2012. He loved football, and watching the DIY Network. James enjoyed working on cars and computers, and spending time with family and friends. He is preceded in death by his mother, Madge Cox. James is survived by his wife, Colleen Chisholm Cox; daughter, Ava Morgan Cox; son, Lee Edward Cox II; father, Lee Edward Cox Sr.; sisters, Sandra Cox Barron, Janet Cox Janeka and husband George, and Toni Cox Shepherd; and several nieces and nephews, and friends. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m., with a visitation to follow until 6:00 p.m. on Monday, February 6, 2012 at the South Hopewell Church of God, with the Rev. Thurman Collier officiating. A time of food and fellowship with the family will begin at 6:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the South Hopewell Church of God, 2300 Bluefield Street, Hopewell, VA 23860.
