James Edwards

James T. Edwards, 89, of Colonial Heights, died Saturday, February 19, 2005. He was the son of the late James H. and Sally Baron Edwards and was preceded n death by his daughter, Patricia Rowland. Mr. Edwards was the former owner of Colonial Barber Shop. He is survived by his wife, Edna H. Edwards, a son James T. Edwards, Jr., Grandchildren Alan Carroll, Greg Carroll, Michael Carroll, Kara Wilder and Chelsea Edwards, and five great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be conducted on Thursday, February 24, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at the Petersburg Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home with the Rev. Ray Haskett officiating. Interment will follow in Old Sparta, N. C.. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 23, 2005 from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
