James Gallion

James Aubrey Gallion, age 83, of Richmond, VA, died on Tuesday, January 15, 2008. He was born in Petersburg, VA, the son of the late Aubrey W. and Esther Stewart Gallion. James was a veteran of the U. S. Army Air Corps, serving our country during WWII with the 44th Bomb Group. He was a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill class of 1948, with a Bachelor of Arts degree, and a member of the Phi Delta Theta Fraternity. James was a retired Pharmaceutical drug representative, and a member of Boulevard United Methodist Church, Richmond, VA. He was preceded in death by a son, James A. Gallion, Jr. James is survived by a son, Donald Lewis Gallion of Orlando, FL; daughter, Jamille Stewart Gallion Wilson of Ocala, FL; grandchildren, James and Taylor Gallion, and Jaclyn, Hannah, and Shelby Wilson; and a great grand daughter, Meg-Riley Wilson. The family will receive friends at the Chesterfield chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service on Friday, January 18, 2008 from 4 to 6 p.m. Graveside funeral services will follow on Saturday at 12 p.m., in Blandford Cemetery, Petersburg, VA.
