James Gosher

James Jacob Gosher, 91, of Pickett Street, died Thursday, July 22, 2004 in John Randolph Medical Center. He was born in Syracuse, NY and had been a resident of Hopewell since 1942. Mr. Gosher was a member of St. James Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus and was a retired operator from Allied Chemical Corporation. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Rose Rice Gosher, his wife, Helen V. Gosher and a very devoted friend, Mrs. Mary Buyalos. Mr. Gosher is survived by his son, Philip James Gosher and his wife Royce of Richmond, one granddaughter, Maya Luisa Gosher-Claytor, one sister, Bernadean Kunzelman of Syracuse, NY. A rosary will be said Sunday, July 25, 2004 at 7:00PM in the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home with visitation to follow until 8:30PM. A funeral service will be held Monday, July 26, 2004 at 10:00AM in St. James Catholic Church, with Rev. Daniel Bond, rector, officiating. Interment will be private.
