James Hensley

James Owen Hensley, age 40, of Matoaca, VA, passed away on Friday, September 5, 2008. He was born in Richmond, VA, the son of Scott Hensley of Lincolnton, NC and mother, Belva Girvin of Smithfield, NC. James was a millwright, and member of the 1402 Local Union. He was a loving, caring, and dedicated father. James is survived by his daughters, Samantha Hensley of Matoaca, VA, and Shae Hensley of New Kent, VA; sisters, Kathy Sposto of Smithfield, and Sonya Webb of Chester, VA; and a half brother, Lucky Girvin of Hopewell, VA. The family will receive friends at the Chesterfield chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service on Wednesday, September 10, 2008 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. A service of remembrance will begin at 7:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
