James Hinton

James H. Hinton â??Jimmyâ?, 69 of Hopewell, passed away on Friday, May 18, 2012. He is the son of the late James Henry and Elizabeth Ermen Hinton. James retired from Phillip Morris after 25 years of service. He was a stock car driver, drag strip driver, enjoyed restoring classic cars, and spending time with his family and friends. James is survived by his wife, Winnie Hinton; daughter Hillary Hinton Charvat and her husband Mike; granddaughter, Natalie Slayden; grandson, Bryce Slayden; sister, Karen Scott; and other family and friends. The family will receive friends from 7pm to 8:30pm on Monday, May 21, 2012 at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss and Son Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
