James Sidney Hudson

James “Sid” Sidney Hudson 62, of Prince George, passed away Wednesday February 28, 2018. He was the son of the late Betty Lou Edwards. He is survived by his loving wife of over 32 years, Carrie Lynn Hudson; daughters, Jordan Heartwell and husband, Matt, Abby Hudson and future son in law, Jordan Clouse, Sydney Harwood and husband, Brandon; grandchildren, Claire Elizabeth Heartwell, and Lilly Heartwell; his father, James Coley Hudson; as well as numerous extended family and friends. Sid was the former Lead Guitarist for country star Barbara Mandrell. He is the President of Hudson Properties and a member of Cold Harbor Church of Christ in Mechanicsville, Va. The family will receive friends Friday March 2, 2018 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Cawson Street Church of Christ 310 N. 3rd. Street Hopewell, VA 23860. A funeral service will be held at 10:00am on Saturday March 3, 2018 at Cawson Street Church of Christ. Interment will follow at Merchants Hope Memorial Gardens.
