James "J.C." Rose

James Claude â??J.C.â? Rose, age 76, of Chester, VA died on Wednesday, August 4, 2010. He was born in Wise County, VA, the son of the late Jeff and Lula Rose. Mr. Rose was a retired Master Welder and member of the local 526 of Richmond, who spent most of his working career with Capital City Ironworks. He was and avid fisherman and hunter, and was a member of the Belona Hunt Club. Mr. Rose is survived by the last of six siblings, a brother, Vernon Rose of Clintwood, VA; and several children; grandchildren; and great grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 11, 2010 from 5 to 6 p.m., with a funeral service immediately following the visitation at the Chester chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. Interment will take place on Saturday, August 14, 2010 in Dickenson County, VA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Belona Hunt Club.
