James (Jimmy) Lee Wyatt

James (Jimmy) Lee Wyatt, of Hopewell, departed his life on April 19, 2016. Mr. Wyatt was a lifelong resident of Hopewell. Jimmy was the son of Waverly Leon and Lucy Saunders Wyatt. He was preceded in death by his wife, Naomi (Oma) Riddle Wyatt and a son, Douglas Leon Wyatt. Mr. Wyatt and his loving wife were co-owners of Wyatt's Florist in Hopewell from 1952 until retirement in 1986. He was a member of First Baptist Church. Surviving his memory, is his son, Barry Lee Wyatt and his wife, Deborah Brown Wyatt; three grandchildren, Brandon James Wyatt and his fiancée Brittney Poole; Kristen Marie Wyatt Bentley and her husband, Ryan Bentley; Amanda Dawn Wyatt; great-grandchildren, Wyatt Alexander Bentley and Preslee Anne Bentley; sister-in law Virgie Riddle Gardner and children; several cousins and many dear, caring friends. The family will receive friends from 2p.m. to 4p.m. on Sunday April 24, 2016 at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 11am on Monday April 25, 2016 at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park. Condolences may be registered at www.jtmorriss.com
