James Ervin Kerr, Jr. 45, of Petersburg, passed away Saturday August 1, 2009. He was a retired Auto Parts Manager from Advance Auto parts, and was a former employee in the parts department of Strosnider Chevrolet. He leaves to cherish his memory his father; James Ervin Kerr, Sr. of Chester, mother; Janet File Kerr of Petersburg, sister; Carolyn L. Wallace of Chester, brother; Charles â??Boâ? Kerr of Dinwiddie, niece Kimberly L. Kerr of Petersburg, nephew; Michael W. Atkinson of Chester, niece; Tina L. Atkinson, of Chester, uncles; Jim File & wife Gladys of Salisbury, NC, Gregory File & wife Janet of Salisbury NC, first cousin Tammy File Riggs & children of Salisbury NC, Sandy Robinson & husband Richard & son of Blythewood SC, and a special friend Joanne Beasley. A memorial service will be held at the Chester Chapel of J.T.Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service on Tuesday August 4, 2009 at 7:00 PM with Pastor Donald Grover officiating.
