James â??Jimâ? Buchanan Wagner, Jr., 63, of Prince George died on Monday, April 06, 2009. He was the son of Helen Burley Wagner and the late James Buchanan Wagner, Sr. Jim had a passion for sports having played Lacrosse for Woodlawn High School in Maryland and later played soccer for Susquehanna University in Pennsylvania. He furthered his pursuit in academics obtaining a Masterâ??s Degree in Business from Cleveland State and a Masterâ??s Degree in Chemistry from John Carroll University. Jim was the owner of MAACO Auto Body and Paint in Petersburg and was an Elder in the Presbyterian Church U.S.A. serving several positions which include teaching the Adult Sunday School class. Along with his mother, he is survived by his high school sweetheart and wife of 43 years, Paulette Adams Wagner; son, Brian Wagner and wife, Christa; daughter, Jennifer Reynolds and husband, Justin; grandchildren, Tia Walters and William Wagner; brothers, Dorn Wagner and wife, Nancy and Eric Wagner and wife, MaryBeth and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 12 noon on Thursday, April 9, 2009 at Gregory Presbyterian Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to either the American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org or to the American Heart Association at www.americanheart.org . The Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service is serving the family. Condolences may be registered at www.jtmorriss.com .
