James Kestner

James Arlin Kestner, 70, of Prince George, died Thursday, June 18, 2009. He was born in Saltville, Va., Mr. Kestner was a retired operator with Firestone Corp., a member of the Virginia Defense Force, member and deacon of Rivers Edge Bible Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Graham and Mary Martin Kestner. Surviving are his wife, Earlene Jeanette Kestner of Prince George, a daughter, Darla K. Glazier and husband Mark of Disputanta, a son, Kendel L. Kestner & wife Carolyn of Petersburg, four grandchildren, Kasey, Courtney, Abigail and Robert, a sister, Loretta K. Gordon , a brother, A. Dale Kestner & wife Janie all of Saltville, numerous family and friends. The family will receive friends Sunday, June 21, 2009 from 7-8:30 pm in the Hopewell Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held Monday, June 22, 2009 at 11:00am in Rivers Edge Bible Church, with Rev. Andy Paul, pastor, officiating.
