James Arnold Latham

James Arnold Latham, 81, of Hopewell, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 24, 2016. He was preceded in death by his parents, James E. and Clarice B. Latham; sister, Mildred Cheeley; brothers, James E. Latham Jr. and Kenneth Latham; daughters, Linda Latham and Sylvia Davis. He is survived by his daughter, Vickie Wolfe (John); granddaughter Brandy S. Petersen; grandson, Gene Thayer; great-granddaughter, Zoie Peterson; great-grandson, Chase Thayer; sister, Betty L. Kingery (Jack); brother, Al "Chuck" Latham, and nieces, Diane Kingery and Kayla Latham. James had worked for Firestone for 37 years. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, March 28, 2016 at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Blandford Cemetery in Petersburg.
