James Lawson

James Charles Lawson, age 67, of Chesterfield, VA, passed away on Sunday, December 21, 2008. He was born in Surry County, North Carolina, the son of the late James Aubury and Sarah Martin Lawson. He was a retired carpenter, and a member and deacon of Fellowship Baptist Church. Mr. Lawson is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Patsy Lawson; daughters, Terri Lawson Wiseman and Cynthia Gail Roberts; grandchildren, James Cameron Lawson, Matthew Tyler Isaacs, Sarah Nichole Isaacs, Brittney Nichole Roberts, and Olivia Crittendon; one great-grandchild, Jaliyah Hrobowski; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the Chesterfield Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 23, 2008 from 6 to 8 p.m. A funeral service will take place in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, December, 24, at 1 p.m. with interment following in Sunset Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Fellowship Baptist Church Building Fund at 2154 Coxendale Rd. Chester, VA 23831.
