James Albert Meade

James Albert Meade, 77, of N. Dinwiddie, passed away on Tuesday, March 29, 2016. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Hinson and Edna Virginia Jackson Meade. James attended Grace Baptist Church for many years and was saved in his own backyard with the help of his sister, Mildred. He is survived by five sisters, Mildred Irby, Dorothy Maloyed, Ruby Rawlings, Mary Alice Branzelle and husband, John, and Margaret McDaniel and husband, Lou; two brothers, William “Bill” Meade and wife, Emma, and Dan Meade and wife, Sue; and many nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 P.M., on Friday, April 1, 2016 at Southlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your local church or missionary or a charity of your choice. The family is being served by the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home.
