James Calvin Miles

James Calvin Miles Sr., 73, of S. Chesterfield, passed away on Monday, June 16, 2014. He is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Viola Palmore Miles. Mr. Miles is survived by his wife, Hazel Yvonne Miles; daughter, Teresa M. Wright and her husband, Jay; sons, James C. Miles Jr., Donald E. Miles, Kenneth W. Miles and his wife, Monica; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sister, Arlene Peters; and other loving family and friends. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 19, 2014 at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, June 20, 2014 at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Ettrick-Matoaca Volunteer Rescue Squad, 5711 River Road, S. Chesterfield, VA 23803.
