James Earl Narron of Chester, VA passed away on Monday, August 27, 2018. He left his earthly home to join his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ after a courageous battle with cancer. He is preceded in death by his parents, James Otis and Bertha Narron; and a brother, Otis Lee Narron of Middlesex, N.C. He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Pat; his sons, Kenny Narron (Nancy) of Hopewell, and Scott Narron (Janie) of S. Chesterfield; three grandsons, Kenny Narron, Jr. of Disputanta, Kyle Narron of Henrico and Matthew Narron of S. Chesterfield; and a granddaughter, Kayla Narron of S. Chesterfield. Mr. Narron was retired from Philip Morris as Plant Manager of Park 500 in Chester, VA. He was also the Director of the Southside United Way, was manager of the year for the International Management Council, was an arbitrator for Chesterfield County and had written and published three book on leadership qualities. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 31, 2018 at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home, with the Rev. Dr. Randall Hahn, officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park, Chester, VA. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, August 30, 2018 at the funeral home.
