James Pouzar

James "Jim" Pouzar, 83, of Petersburg, passed away on January 31, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Katherine Pouzar. Jim served honorably in the United States Air Force and after his discharge had a career in the US Treasury Department. He is survived by his longtime companion of 22 years, Shirley Perkinson, of Dinwiddie; and his son, Christopher Pouzar, of Newport News. The family will receive friends at J.T. Morriss & Son - Dinwiddie, 6616 Boydton Plank Road, on Sunday, February 6 from 5-7 PM, where a service will be held in the chapel the following day at 10 AM.
