James Edward Price

James Edward Price, 81, of Church Road, VA, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 04, 2021 in his home. James was born in Petersburg, VA on January 26, 1940. James was preceded in death by his parents, George and Edith Price, and his two sisters, Shirley Draper and Carolyn Cheek. He is survived by his loving wife, Joyce Price, daughters Kelly Elmore (Herman), Christina Price and Terry Gill (Terry); grandchildren, Geddy Elmore Sr. (Christina), Joshua Elmore (Brittany), Jeremy Price, Jacob Wardle (Shaiyah) and Jennifer Price; great-grandchildren, Nevaeh Robey, Geddy Elmore Jr., Avery Elmore, Elijah Elmore and Ellie Elmore. James loved to coach softball and fish, he loved watching old western movies and NASCAR races and he never passed up an opportunity to spend time with his friends and family. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 08, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Southlawn Memorial Park, 1911 Birdsong Rd. South Prince George, VA 23805.
