James Ronald Pulley

James Ronald Pulley, 73, of Chesterfield, VA passed away on October 17, 2016. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alton and Annie Pulley; his first wife, Connie Pulley; and a grandson, Charles T. Suitt, Jr. He is survived by his loving wife, Melinda B. Pulley; children, Kimberly D. Pulley, Scott Pulley and wife Jennett, Rebecca Suitt and husband Charles, Jessica Brooks and husband Justin; grandchildren, Kaila and Morgan Pulley, Dixie and Thomas Suitt; sister, Marie Pulley; special dog, Sandee; and numerous extended family members and friends. James was a member of Swift Creek Baptist Church as well as the Chesterfield Ruritan Club. He was retired from Dupont with over 25 years of service. The family will receive friends from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, October 21, 2016 at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home 3050 W. Hundred Rd. Chester, VA 23831. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 22, 2016 at Cedarwood Cemetery 225 Kemp Ave. Roanoke Rapids, NC 27870. In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations in honor of James be made to Central Ruritan Club, 2950 Courthouse Road, N. Chesterfield, VA 23236.
