James Quesenberry, 77, died at his home on Sunday, August 9, 2009 after a lengthy battle with cancer. He was retired from Brown & Williamson Tobacco Company and enjoyed restoring and refinishing furniture. He is survived by his wife, Marilyn Quesenberry of Hopewell, daughters Teresa Jones and husband Jimmy of Prince George, Debbie Blankenship and husband Bill of Hopewell one brother, Harold Quesenberry of Lafayette, IN, and several nieces and nephews. He also has six grandchildren, Mike and wife Mary Jones of Hopewell, Jay and wife Tara Jones of Hopewell, Brian Jones of Richmond, Terra and Kenny Moore of Chester, Todd Blankenship of Richmond and B. J Blankenship of Dinwiddie. Five great grandchildren who will miss their â??Pa-Paâ? are Mikey Jones, Hunter Jones, Kayleigh Genova, Cadence Jones and Tyler Moore. Interment will be private at the request of the family.
