James Sr. Loewen

James A. Loewen, 63, of Church Road, Virginia passed away unexpectedly Thursday February 26, 2009 at his residence. He was the son of the late George J. & Jeanette Derreberry Loewen. Mr. Loewen retired from the United States Navy after serving his country for over 20 years, after retiring he worked as an Environmental Specialist for the Government at Fort Lee, Virginia. He is survived by a son James Loewen, Jr., & wife Misty of Knoxville, Tennessee, a daughter; Angela Loewen of Marion, Kentucky, step-sons; John Loewen & wife Amanda of Marion, Kentucky, Anthony Loewen & wife Crystal of Brownsville, Texas, William Loewen of Charleston, SC, sisters; Kathy Bardon of Dubuque, IA, Marilee A. Kelley of Douglasville, Ga., Sue Rasmus and Kris Loewen of Phoenix, AZ, 18 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren. The family is being served by the Petersburg Chapel of J.T.
