James Alvin Turner Jr

James Alvin Turner, Jr., 56, went home to be with the Lord Jesus on February 22, 2021. Born and raised in Hopewell, VA, he was the son of the late James A. Turner, Sr., and Clara E. Turner.
He was employed with a local chemical company and later a manager in the food service industry. He enjoyed doing handyman work, playing guitar, singing, and cooking. He was a loving father, brother, uncle and is survived by his faithful son Christopher Lee Turner and his mother Gina M. Turner, second mother Louise C. Turner, sisters Lynda K. Frink (Dock), Patricia A. Turner, Shannon M. Turner, nephew Douglas E. Dillon, aunts, cousins and his grand-dog Broly. A private service will be held for the family.
