James Woodward

James E. Woodward 81, of Enon, passed away on Friday, November 4, 2011. Mr. Woodward is preceded in death by his parents, Stamey and Lorraine Dean Woodward; daughter, Debra Battle; and brothers, Roy, Charles, and Clint Woodward. He is survived by his wife, Mary B. Woodward; son, Mike Woodward and his significant other Mari Powers; grandchildren, Rebecca and Kathryn Battle; son in law, William Battle, brother; Bobby Woodward and his wife Griselle; brothers in law, George Barnes and his wife Dot, Bobby Barnes and his wife Terry; sisters in law, Janet Short and her husband Larry, Helen Evans; special friends, Roger and Gloria Barber; and other family and friends.
Mr. Woodward retired from Stone Container after 35 years of service, and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. All services are private. Arrangements are being handled by the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss and Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
