Jane Agnew

Jane Lowrey Agnew, 45, of Chester, VA departed this life on Thursday, September 11, 2008. Born in Mobile, AL, she was the daughter of Walter Bonds Agnew and the late Betty Ray Lowrey Agnew. She was a longtime member of Chester Baptist Church, was a graduate of Thomas Dale High School and had a Bachelors Degree in Liberal Arts from James Madison University. Jane was a victim of diabetes which she contacted at the age of five, and which she fought for these many years. Jane was a sweet, loving person, and she was also a fighter. She believed in living her life each and every day to its fullest. She is survived by her sister, Martha Agnew Burke and husband, Marshal, a nephew, Robert and a niece, Alena. The family will receive friends Tuesday September 16, 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Chester chapel of J.T.Morriss& Son Funeral Home, where a funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday.
