Jane Wray Bristow Mcdorman

Jane Wray Bristow McDorman, 94, of Chester, VA passed away on Thursday, November 8, 2018. She was the widow of George A. McDorman, Jr. Mrs. McDorman was a graduate of Westhampton College and a member of the University of Richmond Athletic Hall of Fame. She was a charter member of Bon Air Baptist Church. Mrs. McDorman is survived by her daughters, Patricia M. Runion (Gerald) of Chester, and Kathryn M. Goyne (Dick) of Locust Hill; a son, G. Addison McDorman of Tucson, AZ; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 11, 2018 at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, November 12, 2018 at Bon Air Baptist Church, 2531 Buford Rd., Richmond, VA 23235. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Endowment Fund at Bon Air Baptist Church in memory of Mrs. Jane McDorman.
