Janet Hatfield Cline

Janet H. Cline, 80, of Petersburg, VA, passed June 6, 2024. Born and raised in Horsepen, WV, she was the daughter of Layton and Edna Hatfield. She is survived by her one true love and Husband of 62 years, James "Jimmy" W. Cline; beloved son, Kevin T. Cline; "second son", Donald E. Butler; and adoring sisters, Judy Hatfield and Wanda Myers; as well as numerous loving nieces and nephews.

She was a devoted wife, mother and friend. A successful business owner, she operated Jan's Hair Country in Dinwiddie County for many years.

A beautiful woman, who possessed a very kind and compassionate soul, she touched the lives of many and was a shining example of God's unconditional love. We were blessed to have her. She will be dearly missed.

A memorial service will be conducted at 3:00 P.M. on Saturday, June 29, 2024, at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home.
