Janet Jean Traylor

Janet Jean Traylor, 89, of Dowagiac, Michigan, passed away on October 25, 2021. Janet was born on September 27, 1932. She was preceded in death by her parents, Meredith S. Eiman and Myrel F. Roberts; loving husband of 51 years, Richard Terry Traylor, Sr.; children, Richard Terry Traylor Jr. and Betty Ann Traylor. She was a loving wife and mother and the peacekeeper of the family. Janet is survived by her daughter, Debra Jean Skatzes (Stephen); son, Randy Lee Traylor Sr. (Beth); grandchildren, Bobby, Iris and Lee Traylor; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was a sweet and gentle person. Always with a smile and kind word for you and never complained. Loved to travel, crochet, crafts, color, and read . She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Services will be private. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date at Southlawn Memorial Park in Petersburg, VA. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. The family is being served by the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home.
